Kabuki is "Cherry, red musk, and star anise." It smells like nothing so much as Hi-C fruit punch, and yet I am completely and utterly captivated by it. Flowery and incredibly sweet without being cloying.

Here, have some music.
Bump Of Chicken--Diamond(This is the one I wanted to sing at karaoke a couple weeks ago, though they didn't have it, just because of that last verse).
My die-hard love for Bump of Chicken, above and beyond their most awesome band name, is mostly because of their lyrics, which veer towards optimistic preachiness in a way that I inexplicably love.
They lose something in translation, but here goes. The utterly informal and nonpoetic style is, I think, a pretty accurate reflection of the original, and not mere laziness on my part.
