Summertime blues?
30/3/05 19:14Okay. So I was just offered my job again for the summer. Being that it's a university research assistantship, and being that I'm making more an hour than an undergrad for the same work, it's a slightly underfunded position and there was some doubt over whether there'd be the money to pay me for another semester.
I'm taking the job. I need the money, because otherwise when I get a car it will have three wheels.
But the reason I need a car is that I am going to try to get myself a field experience, unpaid, over the summer. Which is 20 hours per week. Which may well end up being out in Durham, or even Wake County.
And I'm going to try to audit a Spanish class.
And I'm going to Montreal for the wedding of a family friend.
Well, 40 hours a week and commuting between two jobs sounds like an interesting challenge.
