Stage 1. Denial. "I should be able to find something I like that's in my price range!"
Stage 2. Anger. "Heeeeell no I am not going to live here."
Stage 3. Bargaining. "Surely I can learn to live with linoleum bedroom floors. Surely I can learn to live with a daily 3/4 mile hike to the bus stop. Surely I can stretch my budget up a little higher."
Stage 4. Depression. "Maybe I'll just SIT IN MY COLD COLD SHOWER AND CRY."
Stage 5. Acceptance.
