I didn't realize that about saunas! I bet it's one of those things that's like nails on a chalkboard if you know, but could slip past a fact-checker without raising a red flag. (If the Times still does much fact-checking worth anything -- who knows?)

Oh my. I never thought I'd say it about ramen, but that looks so good.

Actual ramen -- as opposed to the instant stuff -- has become something of a fad in New York in the last few years. It's SUPER DELICIOUS, although it's been a long time since I've eaten it since not every place makes vegetarian broth.
