A truly terrific day is capped off by the discovery that my profanity insurance does not cover profanity penicillin. I mean, it's penicillin! It's mold! It is nearly as old as my grandparents! I checked through the book I got with my health plan and noted that it didn't cover, for example, any of the popular antidepressants, but I figured those were really expensive. Penicillin? Really?

Not that it's such a hardship to pay for penicillin, but I really, really, had exhausted all my Cope for the day. Plus, I only have two days of sick leave earned so far, and obligatory meetings on Wednesday and Thursday.

In better news, in an effort to stave off cabin fever and amuse myself in bed (...hey!) I am making a pair of these.

I so completely do not understand insurance. At all.

LOVE those handwarmers -- except I'd make the cable cuffs about twice as long. Damn it, I'm going to have to learn to knit, aren't I.

Hrm. I Googled "profanity insurance" and the very first hit was this post, which makes me think that I surely have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh, and for any health insurance to not cover penicillin is absolutely ridiculous. what the hell?

Oh, that is just swearing without swearing - my darn insurance, or whatever word best suits them.
