People think that because I'm from Montreal I'm fearless about the weather. Hah. I've flipped over in the courtyard at McGill and waved my arms around like a turtle on its back, helpless until someone helped me right myself. I've sliced my palm open on ice; my sister's gotten a concussion on it. I've had my hands turn blue with frost-nip. (Ooh! I've never seen skin that color before. Uh, I don't think it's supposed to be that color). I've seen my parents absolutely refuse to drive on the ice. And, after all, I spent the better part of my college years drinking tea and hot chocolate and hanging out on the internet. I respect the weather, and stay out of its way as much as possible. (Besides, I've had my license for only 6 months or so, and I'm not completely stupid).

Luckily, it seems like the snow is turning into rain without too much ice and sleet in between, because I am very hungry, and, ooh, it's almost my lunch break.
