owlectomyQuiet, now; it'll be quieter soon, and I'll be all alone in the ginormous house for a week petsitting the elderly doggies. We have pecan pie and buche de Noel and Hot Pockets and leftover turkey.
Good Christmas. I have dinosaur cookie cutters, a number of books, a marvelous silver pocketwatch from Russia, and so forth. And the cash from the petsitting will be very useful, if not exactly easy money--the spaniel is more and more arthritic, and has to be carried outside in the morning.
Ah, solitude. It'll be good.
Addendum: Currently, my littlest sister is apoplectic because she may have to change her cell phone number. Oh, get me away from here, I'm dying...
