owlectomyAs I was cycling home after dark (stupid Daylight Savings!) I heard a very foreboding thump. It was too dark to ascertain what the thump was, and I had my keys and my backpack, so I figured I was okay.
And then I tried to find the MLA handbook I'd stashed therein, to work on my paper that's due tomorrow.
Oops.
I bought that maybe six months ago, after putting it off for my entire college career, when I just looked up citation format on the internet. I thought I would at least be able to get a lot of use out of it.
I suppose that I keep thinking up new ways to lose books.
