owlectomyI was so incensed at being made to pay for my own hotel when I got stuck in Philadelphia during my recent travels because of a canceled flight, seeing as how it was at a terrible hotel (2 MILES to a restaurant!) and the "distress" rate was over $100, which is as much as full price should ever be for a Holiday Inn in a bad location. So I wrote them a letter.
And they sent me a travel voucher.
But my yearly New York trip is already bought and paid for, and I just went to Canada, so where else am I going to go? Especially for only $125. Maybe a day in Mexico for spring break? Maybe a science fiction convention? Hmm.
