owlectomyTonight I went to see experimental feminist theater! My sister's friend was in a play so we went to go see it.
It was pretty experimental.
I think it was about how men's ideas of Woman as mythological archetype, as Other, object of desire, projection of hopes and fears, have tended to drown out the voices of actual women.
...And then, because experimental feminist theater is not enough of an Authentic New York Experience, we spent fifteen minutes debating how to get from East Williamsburg to Flatbush on public transit.
