Horrible confessions

After years of "Word doesn't handle complex formatting well" and "I don't know how to do that, I don't use Word, it's kind of really bad software"...

It is physically painful to admit this...

So far (having used it for a morning) I like Office 2010. There are some really cute PowerPoint designs and it seems easier to do some of the things that used to make me tear my hair out. ("Oh... that's how you make bullet points work? But that makes SENSE.")

I still like LibreOffice too, mind you, and it has the advantage of being free. But sneaking into the library to check and tidy my manuscript formatting on Word may no longer be a horrible chore of computer-crashing.
