I like days when I get to go to Central for a meeting. I get to buy a muffin at the cafe! I get to walk around looking at the art exhibit, or go up to browse through the stacks!

...I get to realize in a panic that the meeting was Thursday and today is only Wednesday!

Even though Central is all the way across the borough from my library, I managed to get to work with two minutes to spare. And I still have my meeting tomorrow to look forward to. Also, I got to read a huge chunk of Red Glove on the bus, and I am so in love. The craftsmanship in these books is...unbelievable. It's all the glamor and heartbreak of noir. Betrayal. Wanting what you can't have, wanting what you could have if you gave up the things you're still trying to hold on to.

(I don't know why so many books I really want are coming out in April. Red Glove, Akata Witch, Huntress, Eona...)
