Some things make a post
16/12/10 17:38-A delightful coincidence: The book I'm getting my dad for Christmas is on the Rejectionist's best books of 2010, a list I found because they gave me a shout-out. Actually there is a lot on that list I want to read.
-I have been trying to get to bed earlier. This morning I woke up fifteen minutes before my alarm clock went off and it was AWESOME. Not so awesome? Forgetting my Metrocard in a pocket and having to walk all the way back to my apartment in the coldness. I was not late for work despite the 20-minute detour, though.
-I've written the beginning to my new book, like, eighteen million times. (Actual number: maybe five.) This is totally not just an excuse to run out my fountain pen so I can try my new ink.
-I'm actually quite psyched to go home this year. Maybe it's because last Christmas we only had half the family around? Maybe it's because the water pressure in the shower is good?
