This weekend I was supposed to clean my apartment, work on some e-mails to book people, get a lot of writing done.

Instead I am panting quietly while I wait for my air conditioner to be delivered.

So hot.

edit: Air conditioner delivered. Air conditioner installed. I am still recovering from installing an air conditioner in the 90-degree weather, and not feeling like Being Productive just yet.

Ruffled cabled dystopian sweaters are so 2009.

It makes me kind of sad when an editor goes on Twitter to answer questions for people and gets inundated with people asking, ( What's on trend? Is X hot right now? Is the moment for Y past? )

And why are we in this handbasket?

Job ads specifically rule out the unemployed.
