First finished draft: 50837 words
Second draft that actually has an ending: 61755 words
Third draft, still in progress, on p. 100 of 225: 66843
I've been doing a lot of work on this book to get it into a shape where it actually has a structure that makes sense and fewer giant gaping plot holes. And I would totally be ahead of schedule were it not for those extra 5000 words I added in.
I really hope things get easier as the book goes on, and I might have a chance of getting it finished by Dec. 20th.
