In News of Things That Are Happening Really Fast, my friend dianamcqueen was offered a job in New York; since she was looking to move and I was looking to move, and since we don't seem to have any habits that would drive each other crazy, we looked at apartments together and we seem to have found one that pings my 'too good to be true' detectors only because all the ones we saw the day before were bad to terrible. Fingers crossed that all goes well with the application process - I'm exhausted and not a little anxious, but this could be exactly what I need.
