22/7/08 15:02I am having a problem with books expecting me to believe crass stupidities.
(1) The world is controlled by an evil matriarchy.
(2) Nickelback has good lyrics.
(1: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, which is well-written but also rather appalling in a rebellious-adolescent-boy way; 2: Rogelia's House of Magic, intriguing premise but really clunky writing...)
