Me: (Okay, wow, that's better than I expected.) "All right."
Insurance Person hangs up, calls back: "...Wait, that's for your sister. You've only had your license since 2006? It's going to be $3X."
Me: (Dies.)
It seems wrong that my monthly payment for insurance is going to be three times the monthly payment for the car. Unlike some people I could mention, I have never plowed into a limo owned by minor royalty. I am out of Coping, so I'm not going to look into changing my coverage options right away, but I will soon -- and I spend more and more time wondering why people put up with car ownership. (Silver lining is that it's actually cheaper for me to have renter's and car insurance than just car insurance--so I finally am getting around to insuring my valuable possessions, such as my invisible furniture.)
