16/3/07 23:01(1) For the second time, Chase has e-mailed me encouraging me to put my taxes on my credit card. Yeesh; besides which, once might be a suggestion, but twice is definitely spam.
(2) As I was hunting around in the rain for parking so that I could stop by the downtown comic shop, I was reminded of Alex Marshall's idea that cars take up so much space that in order to have good walkable urban spaces, you need to get rid of the cars. Or at least the ginormous parking lots. Which is why, whenever I go somewhere interesting, I can never find parking. It's only 3.5 miles to the comic shop; the obvious solution's to ride my bike, but I still haven't brought it over from the parental garage; I'm waiting for the extra cash for a bike rack so that I won't get tire tracks all over the carpet. Unfortunately, as it happens, the comic shop didn't have the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic or the Kabuki trade paperbacks or any manga I particularly wanted.
(3) Brothers Pizza is gone! OMG Nooo! (Apparently it's been a while, but I don't get down to Hillsborough street much. I don't parallel park). That was some good pizza.

doll_shop sent me my Doctor Who dolls! Oh so cute. The Doctor is in my coat pocket right now, because I needed the moral support; Rose is being menaced by Gloomy Bear. I am six years old.
