9/3/07 22:43I believe in the fundamental importance of following one's silly whims. Especially when you can do so for the price of restringing one's sister's acoustic guitar.
I have itty bitty little calluses on my fingers! And I can do pretty decent E, E minor, G, C, and D chords. And if you give me about an hour I can even switch from one to the other. I can sort of play "Turn, Turn, Turn," but again, you'll have to give me about an hour.
...And it so happens that the storytime theme for next week is 'making noise.' I may yet do so. The plan is to hand out maracas and bells and rhythm sticks to the littluns, but I'm not fully confident in my crowd control abilities, so. We shall see.
