'In those days nobody had a VCR, and of course our house didn't have anything that expensive, so I would hold my tape recorder up to the television to record the sound, and rush to write down notes of all the important scenes, and I tried to pay really close attention so that I would be able to draw a storyboard. Alas, I was not such a genius that I could draw a whole storyboard after only one viewing.'
