15/12/06 21:37One of the least-fun things that can happen is when something goes terribly wrong and is just outside of my expertise.* I keep whacking at it for hours in the hopes that maybe I'll figure it out, while I get more and more annoyed with myself.
The computer that I usually use here at work is kaput, not-even-loading-Windows kaput (and no, it's not the power supply). The network printing is also kaput. I have a hypothesis that the main software for the network printer is on the computer that's down, but who knows, maybe it's a completely different problem. In any case I can't figure it out.
At least Friday is (a) not a school night, and (b) not a particularly busy day. But I will be terribly relieved when the weekend gets here. It's been that kind of day. I had stress hives by 8 a.m.
