22/2/06 20:41I've made a decision that I'm not entirely crazy about, but that strikes me as best under the circumstances: I'll continue work on both Patterns of the Wild and Wish You Were Here whenever I feel like it. I have too much else going on to make sure that I spend sufficient time on writing fiction, and at the same time, I don't need to be worrying myself over PotW when I'm getting little snippets to write of WYWH.
I think I like Wish You Were Here (the pseudo-literary YA novel). It's very much a change of pace, trying to write in a realistic mode, and I can put all kinds of really self-indulgent stuff in it, like the character who is writing a musical about ninjas.
