I totally need some of these.

It's not that I don't have stuff to do. It's just that I left my Research Methods book at home, so having finished everything on my proposal except the 'methodology' section, there's nothing much left that I can do with it. And the nice people in the lab who are CONSTANTLY snapping pictures and giggling at each other aren't letting me concentrate so that I can read my Spanish or work on rewrites. (My job is not to concentrate on my stuff, but to help them, so I will have to seethe in silence and whine to y'all about it).

I've been here since 9:00, and will be here till 10:00, and I'm over my tolerance for talking to people. I had a driving lesson today. The guy is a good teacher but he will not stop talking for one second. And I had to go to the DMV to get my permit renewed and they were like, "Oh, you're one of those Canadians down here?" And I responded in the affirmative, and the guy was like, "But I'm sure you love it down here," and I said "Eeeeeehhhh," because sometimes I'm too stupid to be pleasant and lie. And then I was told again that I loved it here. Well, sure, in mid-January, I suppose. (I saw bluebirds on Sunday--it's early for them, but it's been a mild winter so far).

So, what do I do to kill two and a half hours? ...Aw. I have to make up my personal philosophy/values paper. Better start on that, then.
