17/12/05 08:18I cannot believe that they are asking whether the NSA spying on citizens without any kind of warrant might be perfectly justified and necessary.
It's not even the government that I'm concerned about. I'm not a citizen, so they were already spying on me anyway. What terrifies me is that there really are people who think that ANY violation of civil liberties is acceptable so that the terrorists don't get us.
The right wing tries to make us think they're so manly and Christian. If they were either one of those, wouldn't they be...just a little less scared of getting killed?
