Argggh.

The university server's down--the server that houses my proposal-in-progress.

I suppose I should stop grumbling and admit that there are large sections I can do even if I can't access the parts I've already done. But it's due in 5 days and I haven't done nearly enough on it, and the server might well be down until Monday because everyone's on vacation.

I actually did get about 3 pages written of my research proposal, so it's not like I was totally procrastinating, but... nothing can stop the mad quest to write 50,000 words as fast as possible. Well, perhaps that's only when you have a lot of schoolwork you're desperately trying to look for a way out of.

So, that's gone now. (I don't actually intend to keep writing past this point--not this month. Too much else to do. Alas.)
