The most recent Kabuki has a little thing on synchronicity, on coincidence, on waiting patiently with the strangeness of the world until you see the common denominators.

(Aside: the most recent issues of Kabuki are, more than anything, self-help comic books strung up on a thin line of narrative. I don't know whether it's odder that something like that exists, or that it actually works).

And so it was that I spent a good hour or two figuring out duplicate layers in Photoshop after finding the [livejournal.com profile] icon_tutorial community, and the next day, through the magic of "Screen," was able to fix the photos of the woman who just came in to scan a very dark picture.

Synchronicity's nice. And Photoshop's even nicer, once you start to get over the learning curve...
