You know how, when you're writing, you think about where your characters are going to end up five or ten years down the road? Okay, maybe that's just me, but... it just hit me that my human characters are about three years away from a huge stock market crash. They're all going to be really, really poor. So much for happy endings, eh? Maybe my readers won't think about it, just like I haven't thought of it at all until this point.

I presume that fae economies are more durable.

I've revised my total estimated word count down a little bit.

I'd be tempted to try to marathon the whole thing this weekend, except that
a) These days I have the attention span of a rodent on crack, and
b) I am writing a 10-page paper for Human Info Interactions, doing a database assignment, doing cataloging, etc. Which affect my grades a whole lot more than finishing my book.

P.S. Meaghan, check e-mail...
