The writing goes, but goes slowly. Up to 1500 words on the new thing, 267 pages on the old thing. I'm deliberately proceeding slowly in the hopes that maybe this time I won't end up with a spindly skin-and-bones first draft that I really, really don't feel like making into a second draft, which has always been my problem up to this point. If I write fast, I write radio plays. Still, 600 words in a day sure doesn't seem like a lot.

I am still figuring out how to get a guy killed off.

You know what's just a wonderful idea?

When you have a required class for everyone in a class of 80 entering students. And the class only has 30 places available.
Because, you know, that just makes so much sense.
