Speech Contest

I don't want to dispute the results, of course, but in the other categories besides my own the results seemed rather arbitrary, so I can still pretend I was better than I actually was.
The prize I got was a little set of plates and teeny little bowls for dipping sauce, which I would rather have than a dictionary anyway. The other people in my class who were competing won 3rd in advanced and 3rd in open, and a McGill student got 1st place in intermediate and the grand prize, I'm glad for that. They deserved it.
