Well, the good side for me is that the panel I'm on isn't up against anything I'm dying to go to. The bad side is that it's up against one of the GoH readings & the Carl Brandon update panel (I feel like I can probably hear about any news from that quarter from other folks, so I'm not terribly upset about missing it), & @ least, oh, a zillion other panels that I'm sure folks will be interested in.

I haven't even started to look @ the rest of the program yet, ha ha. I think I have to go ask Phredd to print out a copy @ work so I can start highlighting & planning.

P.S. When are you & Meaghan getting into town? We'll be there Thursday morning, whee. If you'll be there in time, come to packet-stuffing Thursday afternoon! It's a nice way to catch up w/folks (& meet new ones) in a low-pressure environment (b/c everyone's busy stuffing packets). Plus last year we got free WisCon tote bags for doing it. Maybe they'll have a similarly cool perk this year.

Well, Meaghan thought she was getting the month off, but that didn't work out, so she says maybe next year.
I'm not coming in till Friday around noon, unfortunately. I'll keep that in mind for next time, though!

Oh, sad that Meaghan won't be going!!

Well, you'll be there in plenty of time for the Gathering, so that sounds like a good time to come in. :)

Clearly you have two weeks to create copies of yourself. Unfortunately I do not count.

Too bad we don't have twin telepathy!

Or invent time travel. Though you'll have to devise an elaborate map system that you follow so you don't meet any copies of yourself while going from panel to panel. It could be tricky if there's like, 6 of you, and you have to think up 6 different routes to get from one panel to another so none of the copies meet.

Actually, that is the easy part! I just have six copies of myself which each stake out a different panel room for the duration of the convention. The difficult part is when we break for lunch and dinner; then I'll have to leave at five-minute intervals, and send myself to different restaurants in different directions.
