I'm so much better at buying books than I am at buying clothes. But then, there aren't many books that are lime green, have way too many sequins, or make my arms look big.
If you're buying a dress -- I imagine you haven't had this problem -- it's actually rather hard to find one that doesn't leave a lot of the chest/shoulder area exposed, and also doesn't make one look fifty years old, or Mormon. A lot of these dresses don't quite work with my figure, because I am not Michelle Obama. But I did in fact end up finding a very nice shirt in bright blue silk.
