Shinies. And by 'shinies' I mean unread books.

What can you do with only one working hand and no internet access or cable? Well, there's always books - which comes as a surprise to me because I almost never read at home. I have a good hour and a half per day for reading on the train and at lunch, and that's fast enough to get through a YA book at a snappy pace.

The library has delivered to me:
The Graveyard Book, Neil Gaiman
Paper Towns, John Green
The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins
Tender Morsels, Margo Lanagan

This is wonderful. But it occurs to me that the Depressing factor might be a little high, which is why it's good that I haven't yet read the sequel to Toys Go Out...

I loved The Graveyard Book. I just started Justine Larbalestier's How To Ditch Your Fairy, which is nice and light.
