I want what I have.
How did that even happen?

If only that meant I would stop spending money, but alas, a person still needs things like a purple-and-black-striped dress shirt. And tangerines. And movie tickets.

Budget cuts...

Again. It's possible that the libraries outside of NYC will be hit worse -- the NYC libraries get a large portion of their money from the city, though obviously we're not going to get a ton of money from the city this year either.

This is the new normal, though. I need to stop jumping at every hint they're going to slash the budget. Either I'll have a job or I won't and running around scared is not going to be helpful in either case.
