Doing bookkeeping today, as I don't have the energy to write. I have a total of 5000 words on what's being called the fairy booze story, which is a pretty fair start for a novel, I think. I am figuring out this story slowly but surely; I can hear its heartbeat, which is always a good sign. A submission sent out, a status query... I haven't been submitting lately as a consequence of realizing months ago that I wasn't cut out for short fiction, so I haven't even been trying, really. With this most recent submission I have one short story out, if you don't count the one that seems to have been lost. The novels? #1 trunked. #2 out. #3 about three days from a completed second draft, so I must work on that one...
